Who is the bat?

A walk along the river, looking to take photos

Today a walk along the river in Tumut helped me realise that life will be an empty walk unless I chose to live & enjoy it.

The walk on the river with my camera, looking to take nice photos brought back a number of things. Using angles of branches, bridges to point to a focus object - is really not to different to life. Walking the river doing this, caused me to focus on different colours, different objects, different angles, different focal point. This meant I had to focus on nature, move outside my own head.

Noticing nature - the flow of the Tumut River, coming from Blowering Dam with strong currents, moving quickly through its life. The water cold as the snow melts to fill the dam, the depth of the dam keeps the water cold. The river beautiful, almost pristine, pure as it flows. Not complicated by life. The flow of the water brings to me the danger of being immersed in it, not having control. The current strong, being taken down a path that may have excitement & fear. Of seeing beauty on the way. Is this the nature of life.

There are bats in the trees. A bat flies from the tree & circles overhead before landing in the tree. Who is the bat?
